The David Keck collection contains correspondence from 1930 to 1958, but predominantly from the years between 1950 and 1958. The remainder of the collection includes notes on species determinations and several manuscripts.

Scope and Contents The William Campbell Steere Records document Steere's career as Director of NYBG from 1958-1972 as well as the history of the institution during this time period. Series 1, Correspondence, includes subject and individual correspondence.
