Bronx Park, Buildings and Grounds Planning, 1891 - 1899

This series contains material related to the formation and early years of the New York Botanical Garden, including the Garden’s Statement of Purpose, meeting minutes, reports, and information from the Scientific Directors regarding the Bronx Park site. Much of the material does not cover the period during which Brown served on the Board of Managers or the Committee on Plans, and it contains little information about his later role in the administration of the Garden.
