Scope and Contents
This series contains incoming and outgoing correspondence related to NYBG planning activities, post-World War II rebuilding, the restoration of the Lorillard Snuff Mill, the Badianus Manuscript, and fundraising and construction efforts for the Charles B. Harding Laboratory and the Harriet Barnes Pratt Library Wing. Correspondents include William J. Robbins, William C. Steere, Alfred Tozzer, T. H. Everett, Charles B. Harding, Henry de la Montagne, Joseph Swan, and employees of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, such as Francis Cormier and Robert Moses.
