This series, the most extensive in the collection, represents the bulk of Mastrantonio’s research pertaining to seedsmen and the companies they founded. Arranged by name of each seedsman or company, materials include online auction listings of relevant paraphernalia, newspaper articles, published secondary sources, genealogical records, and correspondences retained from the research process. Additional examples of these materials that could not be easily associated with a particular seedsman may be found in Series 6.
