Scope and Contents
This series contains a file of index cards that once belonged to Dr. David LeRoy Topping, a fern expert. They were bequeathed to Dr. Otto Degener along with the remaining portion of Topping's fern specimens, which were mostly collected in the Philippines and, according Degener, “do not concern [his] Flora Hawaiiensis project.” However, each card is annotated by Degener on the reverse side.
