"Notes on Galapagos Island Mosses" by E. G. Britton & R. S. Williams, circa 1880-1930
Scope and Contents
Manuscripts and typescripts include annotated botanical lists, drafts of published articles, book reviews, and two files of NYBG reports of the "Honorary Curator of Mosses." All pertain to moss systematics. There are 4 typescripts of collaborative publications with G. B. Kaiser and Robert Statham Williams and translations of an article by P. Vuillemin and of the journal of Nicolas Valverde on an expedition to Turquino, Cuba. In some cases pencil sketches accompany the notes and manuscripts.
