Scope and Contents
This series contains several sets of index card files on a variety of subjects including specimens collected and arranged by club members and a commercial series of note cards to help identify plants. A sample of the earliest handwritten card Index to American Botanical Literature has been retained. There are two sets of machine generated index cards for the IABL. One set is in boxes and dates through 1981. The older set dates through 1966 and is held in a series of metal filing drawers. This card set follows exactly the printed version of the G K Hall IABL series.
