Postcards--Still Life, circa 1915-1930
Scope and Contents
68 of the cards in this series measure 3.5 inches by 5.5 inches. They are botanical subjects, presumed to be of the "white border" variety of postcard, produced in the United States between 1915 and 1930. They are color enhanced, black and white photographic copies. The remaining 13 cards have no postal information on them and appear to be tourist cards of the Swiss Alps, probably produced after 1930.
* several of the postcards were removed from a scrapbook for preservation purposes.
