Series 8: Lehman College

This series concerns the NYBG's relationship with Lehman College, located in the Bronx and a branch of the City University of New York. Lehman College operates a graduate program in botany in conjunction with the NYBG. Dr. Prance served as graduate advisor to twenty students during his tenure, two of these are now members of the scientific staff at the NYBG. At one time, the NYBG considered operating its own graduate school and this file can be found within series 11 under the heading NYBG University proposal.
