The Strychnos series includes three subfiles. Subfile 1 covers descriptions and keys, statistics, changes in identification, distribution, doubtful species, specimen deposits, eighty species files, correspondence with Dr. Maguire, wood samples and reprints. Subfile 2 includes notes on identification, papers and a manuscript, Strychnos in Nicaragua. Subfile 3 is an index card series listing spp. collected and numbered.
