This series consists of books which Krukoff used as source material and which have been extensively excised for the creation of his files. The books removed from the series have been accessioned by the LuEsther T. Mertz Library. Also included are miscellaneous journal articles and files on South American herbaria and Latin American geography. Books 1.- 8. were used as source material; Books 9. - 22. were accessioned into NYBG General Collection.
