Scope and Contents The Charles Thom collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, research notes, an index card file of mycological literature, photographs, negatives, drawings, and personal papers. It covers his USDA career with the Bureau of Chemistry from 1913 to his retirement in 1942 and post-retirement years to 1953.
